He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Thurston and Elizabeth Thurston (Wilson); his children, Roberto, Armon Thurston and Zelta Corliss; and his siblings, Clyde, Clifford, Norman Thurston, Doris Lezer and Helen Carleton.
He is survived by: his spouse Olis Claflin of Corinth, VT.; his children, Fleeta Thurston of Fairlee, VT, Sidonie MacRitchie of Montpelier, VT, Sidney Thurston of Corinth, VT and Burton Valliant (Harriet) of Illinois; and his sister Shirley Eastman of Corinth, VT. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
