She was predeceased by: her parents, Waite Whitney and Ruby Fern Whitney (Phelps); her husband Richard Morehouse; her daughter Michelle Peterson; her niece Renee Peace; and her siblings, Roger Whitney, Homer Gibson, Waite Whitney, Jr., Barbara Butler, Wilma Tullis, Betty Marr and Keith Whitney.
She is survived by: her sons, Samuel Pylypczuk (Doreen) of Moultonboro, NH, Richard Avery (Liz) of Madison, SD and David R. Avery (Cindy) of Wolfeboro, NH; her stepson Ceylon Morehouse (Vicki); her grandchildren, Jonathan Pylypczuk of Tamworth, NH, David K. Avery (Emily) of Wakefield, NH, Elizabeth Avery of Limerick, ME and Mason Avery of Madison, SD; her siblings, Juanita Peace of Arkansas, Jack Whitney, Mary May Mitchell and Mabel Rinard; and her sister-in-law Maryann Whitney (Roger) of Colorado. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
