It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip J. Sorrell of Concord, Vermont, born in Fairfield, Vermont, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Sorrell and Cecilia Sorrell (Teague); his son-in-law David Bixby; his siblings, Jane Cowdell, Betty Noble, Charlotte Farrow, Veronica Fournier, Roger Sorrell and Walter Sorrell; and his in-laws, Mildred and Charles Fournier.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Theresa Fournier of Concord; his children, Elaine Bixby of Lyndonville, Stephen Sorrell (Teresa) of Underhill, Michael Sorrell (Turie) of Willison, FL and Jeffrey Sorrell of Ft. Morgan, CO; his sisters, Louise McKearney, Rose Patryshak, Nancy Valimont (Cliff), Joann Mogelnicki (Frank) and Ruby Gorham William (Rick); and his grandchildren, Monica, Stephanie, Jordan, Nicole, Crystal, Sean, Jesse, Jodi, Matthew and Ashley. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
