It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tabitha Sweeney of Colchester, Vermont, born in Burlington, Vermont, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her stepmother Theresa Benoit; her uncle Sean Chagnon; her grandfather Fred Tardie; and her great-aunts, Deb Shortsleeves and Rena Jones.

She is survived by: her parents, Tammy Sweeney and Gary Chagnon; her stepparents, Vicki Billings and Wayne Farr; her daughter Luna Marie Sweeney-Castro; her sister Samantha Anderson; her brother-in-law Scott Anderson; her sister Kaleigh Benoit; her brother-in-law Scott Bapp; her grandmother Susan Tardie; her great-uncle Thomas Jones (Linda Fenton); her uncles, Ken Sweeney and Chad Chagnon; her aunt Krystal Chagnon; her cousins, James Sylvester, Mariah Sylvester and Scott Stisi; and her pets, Daisy and Hercules. She is also survived by many other cousins and important friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution's in Tabitha's memory may be made to benefit her toddler daughter Luna and her future care and education.
