He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leggett and Rhoda Leggett (Stone); his wife Bonnie Norman; and his brothers, Ken, Billy, Arnold "Bozo" and Donald Leggett.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Champney (Steve) of Milton; his grandchildren, Megan Champney-Geoffroy (Matthew), Lance Champney (Katie), Brennon Champney and Destinee Champney; his great grandchildren, David, Aubrey, Blake Geoffroy and L. J. Champney; his siblings, Jacqueline Haight of Charlotte, Armand Leggett (Madeline) of Williston, Pat Leggett of So, Burlington, Larry Leggett (Charlotte) of Georgia and Darlene Charland (Michael) of Underhill; and also Missy. He is also survived by 10 children.
