She was predeceased by: her son David; and her parents, Margery Authelet (McKay) and John Authelet (Jack) of Foxborough, Massachusetts.. She is survived by: her friends, Grace Cleary and Joyce Wetherbee; her daughter Elaine Day of DeFuniak Springs; and her sisters, Lynne Sarikas (George) of Norfolk, Massachusetts, Jayne Siteman (Bob) of North Attleborough, Massachusetts and Laurie Risler (Brian) of Westfield, Massachusetts..
Mary Lou galvanized the community to form the Colchester Summer Lunch program which ran for nineteen years under her direction and ended with the pandemic.
