She is survived by: her husband Michael Dowling of Colchester; her daughters, Alison McConnell (Andrew) and Meredith Connolly (Darren); her grandchildren, Kate Connolly and Nolan McConnell; her brother-in-law Mark Dowling (Christopher Perrera); her cousin Shirley Cota; and her caregivers, Edith Wilkerson and Joyce Mabiei.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (30 Lincoln St, Essex Junction, VT 05452).
Memorial donations in Karen's name may be made to the New England Hemophilia Association at newenglandhemophilia.org, an organization that Karen and Michael have supported for many years.
