He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Kenish and Benita Kenish (Ferris); his brother Michael; his siblings-in-law, Philip Couture (Tom) and Lori Fitzgerald; and his grandson Nathan Zuver, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Sherry-Lynn Couture; his children, Mary Diefendorf (Eric Sr.) of Poultney, VT, Kristi Zuver (Nathan Sr.) of Bar Harbour, ME, Julie Anderson (Michael) of Weymouth, MA, Erin Murray of Hinesburg, VT and Scott Ward (Jennifer) of Bristol, VT; his grandchildren, Taylor, Eric Jr. Diefendorf (Hannah), Chelsea, Ryan, Nicholas Thompson, Jacob Anderson, Cameron Martin, Finn (Maxx), Alaina Murray, Karli Zuver, Lincoln, Jackson Ward and Liam Cavaretto; his great grandchildren, Everleigh and Ellie Diefendorf; his brother Steven Kenish (Nancy) of Lewis Center, OH; his nieces, Susan and Karen; and his siblings-in-law, David Fitzgerald, Randy Couture, Jim Couture (Kathy) and Claire Couture. He is also survived by his family, friends.
His contributions to the field were recognized with numerous awards and accolades.
