He is survived by: his sisters, Judy Groop (Andy Groop) of Quarryville, PA and Nancy Gundersen of Shokan, NY; his former wife Ruth Venema Gundersen of Palmyra, PA; his niece Rebecca Orlovsky (Andrew Orlovsky); his great-nieces and great-nephews, John Steinar (Jack), Hawken Andrew, Lillian Ester and Elizabeth Marie; and his nephew Andrew J. Groop (AJ).
