He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Alberts and Anna Alberts; his parent-in-law Vilas Gentes (Mary); his sister Terri Varin; his sister-in-law Doris Alberts; his mother-in-law Josephine Gentes; and his nephews, John Baker and Alan Gentes.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Alberts (Gentes); his daughters, Joanna Alberts (Becky Hemingway) of Essex and Heather Burritt (Adam); his grandsons, Ty and Ryan Burritt; his sister Judy Mills Shirley (Alabama); and his parents-in-law, Albert Gentes (Susan), Jo-Ann Blow (Edwin), Shela Marcelle (Wayne) and Rose Bacon.
