He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram W. Ames and Helen Ames (Sedgeley). He is survived by: his wife Susan Ames (LaCroix); his daughters, Julie Ames Aubin (Ryan) of Colchester and Penny Ames Rule (William Rule) of Beaufort, N. C.; his grandchildren, Amy Elizabeth (Jason Blount), Ryan Frederick Johnson (Brandon Nance), Layla Sue Aubin and Jackson Frederick Aubin; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Blount and Alexander Blount. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research in Fred's name.
