Daniel S Norton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel S Norton (Essex, Vermont), born in Burlington, Vermont, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving his family and friends to mourn his passing.
Daniel was born on July 13th 1969. He graduated in 1987 from Essex Educational Center. Daniel loved meeting new people and had a wonderful outgoing personality. He enjoyed helping anyone that needed an extra hand. He spent many years working at the Yankee Peddler in Essex and his lasti employment was at habitat for humanity until his accident in March 2023. He was still trying to overcome when he passed.
He got married in April 2003 to Deborah McGuire and divorced just last May. They remained close friends He totally adored being a father then grandfather to her 5 children and 4 grandchildren. He always was very firm on the fact that he has 5 children Didn’t get the fun in making them but they were his just the same. . The love he had for the 5 was nothing compared to his love for his grandchildren. How hid face would light up when he heard one of them say “ Bampy”. Daniel also had many friends that loved his contagious positive mood.

He is survived by his parents Walter and Sondra (Wells) Norton his 5 children Kaylynn McGuire, Michael Millette, Kevin Millette, Skylar Millette and Jacob Jones. His 4 grandchildren Keirsha, Kai, Matthew and Emma. His 4 brothers Patrick, Jimmy, T.J., and Eddie. And his special cousin Michael who he grew up with. Many aunts and uncles and a lot of friends.

He will be greatly missed by so many.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 9th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the La Vigne Funeral Home & CRMTN (132 Main Street, Winooski, Vermont 05404).
