Carol Boone Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Boone of Colchester, Vermont, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 18, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Deiss and Mamie Deiss (Betty). She is survived by: her husband Leo Boone (Dan); her son Paul Boone; her grandchildren, Brian Boone and Emily Sawicki (Patrick Sawicki); her stepgranddaughters, Mariah Holmes and Desiree Holmes; and her great grandchildren, Joshua Sawicki, Katelyn Sawicki and Elizabeth Kriessle.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Vermont Public Radio, an organization that Carol enjoyed and gave to regularly.
