Lyndon Chapin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2022, at the age of 87, Lyndon Chapin of Chittenden, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Mark Chapin; his wife Sylvia Ballard; and his siblings, John Mark Jr., Clarence, Lila, Mildred, Leroy and Harley.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Chapin (Donna) of Clarendon, Vicky Brown (Chester) of West Rutland and Gary Chapin (Lisa) of Shrewsbury; his grandchildren, Justin (Kay), Jeremy (Deb), Kerri (Gary), Erik, Christopher (Lauren), Brittany, Alyssa and Megan; his great grandchildren, Caden, Natalie, Mikaela, Evelyn, Lily, Iva and Weston; his close friend Emma Kelley; and his pet Lily. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rutland County Humane Society, Foley Cancer Center and Hospice.
