We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2022, at the age of 96, Vida M. Martin of Chelsea, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Kennedy and May Kennedy (Ashline); her husband Hollister E. Martin; and her siblings, Thelma Dickinson, Carl Kennedy and Lawrence Kennedy.

She is survived by: her significant other Kenneth L. Colby; her sons, Richard Lloyd Colby (Deb Metcalf) and Dean T. Martin (Nikhil Loyal); her grandchild Gayle; her child Gayle; her grandchildren, Karen Lynn Colby (Paul Rea), Kelly Colby Gray (George Gray) and Ken Colby (Karen Baumann Colby); her great grandchildren, Nathan Gray, Hannah Rea, Travis Gray, Kenneth J. Colby, Sara Rea and Emma Colby; and her siblings, Ernest Kennedy, Phillip Kennedy and Beverly Lyon.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Chelsea Historical Society, 25 Upper Village Road, Chelsea, Vermont.
