She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Luce and Laura Luce (Morrill) of Tunbridge, Vermont.; her husband Jim; and her sister Maryellen. She is survived by: her sons, James Edward Hewitt II (Jenny) of South Royalton and Chad Hewitt of Barre; her grandchildren, Jocelyn, Madison, Cooper and Jacob; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Campbell of Northfield, Sandra Race (John) of East Randolph and Tom (Barb) of South Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Chelsea Senior Center, PO Box 44, Chelsea, VT 05038.
