We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2024, at the age of 91, Richard E. Covey Sr. (Chelsea, Vermont) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Donald Covey, Merle Covey, Lila O'Donnell, Shirley Bruleigh, Ernest Covey, Sandy Williams, Audrey Wadkins, Linda Chaffee, Karel Hill and Lyle Covey.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard, Jr. (Dicky), Ronald (Ronnie), Raymond and Bobby (Bobby); his brother Burton; his close friends, Richard Jr., Marilyn, Ronald, Brenda, Raymond, Dwayna and Theresa; and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Susan Covey (Ziva), Nichole Kellogg, Andy Erskine (Kailynn), Matthew, Karissa Covey (Tanner), Eric Covey, Elsie Goodrich, BJ Covey (Mia), Cody, Emily Covey, Josh and Casey Covey (Jack).
In lieu of flowers we ask that in the spirit of Dad's work ethic that you keep an eye on your pennies and your dollars will take care of themselves.
