He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Nolan and Eileen Nolan (Sturtevant); his former wife Ruth Jones of Unionville, CT.; his wife Shirley Nolan of Orange, VT; his children, Bryan Nolan (Peggy Nolan) of Panton, VT and Kelly Nolan Lyford (Alan Lyford) of Chelsea, VT; his stepchildren, Cathy Sample of Chelsea, VT and Eric Sample of Websterville, VT; his daughter-in-law Tracy Nolan of Chelsea, VT; his brother Roger Nolan; his brother-in-law Roger Hayes; his son Timothy Nolan; and his sisters, Lorraine Patlock and Frieda Hayes. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
