She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard McDurfee and Alice McDurfee of Charlotte; her siblings, Bud McDurfee of Arizona and Loraine Moureau of Charlotte; and her son James Bothwell III of Charlotte.
She is survived by: her sister Diane Bernard (Mark) of Swanton; her children, Peggy Root (Wayne) of Swanton, Kevin Bothwell (Sheila) of Charlotte and Brian Bothwell (Christy) of Colchester; her grandson Philip Bothwell of Charlotte; her children, Dillion Bothwell of Charlotte, Damion Bothwell of Charlotte and Kayla Bothwell of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Seth, Melissa, Amanda, Chris, Jennifer, Tia and Brandon; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Lilly, Colin, Ava, Jorja, Brian, Tanner, Alice and Wesley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family/friends.
