He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Stannard (Matteson); his son Heman Stannard; and his sisters, Tamera Atwood (Doug), Susan Howe (Chris), Lisa Brough (John) and Judy Genier (Bernard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

“In loving memory of Heman Stannard: A year or two ago in early spring I got my truck stuck (ground was very mushy) in our corral area on Scotch Hill . Who comes down the road in his Jeep but Heman. He just pulled into the driveway and asked if I needed pulling out. That's Heman...........big heart!! Thank you buddy.....see you on the other side in the future! Pepe Nuzzolo””
