She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Smith and Claire Smith; and her brother Peter Smith. She is survived by: her husband Rod Knipes; her sons, Christopher Knipes (Diane) and Brian Knipes; her siblings, Scott Smith (Gladys), Andrew Smith (Vivian) and Melissa Cioffi; and her granddaughter Reilly Knipes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
