He is survived by: his wife Carla Payne of East Cabot; his stepchildren, David Thomas (Lu) of Plainfield and Jessica Salinas-Thomas of Revere, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Jakob, Liorah, Ernesto, Juan Pablo, Nicole, Jenna and Maria; his brother Edward B. Payne; his sister-in-law Rosemary Payne; and his nephews, Harold, Charles and Arthur. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
