With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter E. Douglas (Burlington, Vermont), born in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Douglas and Ina Douglas (Poquette); and his brothers, Clifton, Kenneth, Richard, Roger and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ryan Douglas; his children, Michael (Donna) of Fairfax, Patricia Meyer of Williston and Thomas (Colleen) of Jericho; and his grandchildren, Stephen, Christopher, Brendan, Aaron, Hailey, Camilla, Sara and Clara. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
