She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Myrtie Witherell (Kent) and Sanford Stowell Witherell Sr.; and her husband John Carpenter. She is survived by: her sister Susan Amy Carpenter; her daughter Susan Carpenter of Bethel; and her brother Sanford Witherell Jr. of Shoreham, VT. T.
