It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary E. Shannon of Burlington, Vermont, born in Berlin, New Hampshire, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Shannon and Ida Shannon (Barlow); and her siblings, Edward Shannon, Otis Shannon, Fred Shannon and Jean Fairweather.
She is survived by: her children, David Lajoie (Roberta) of Lancaster, NH, Wendy McMann (Bryan) of North Stratford and Lennie Fournier (Melinda) of Palmdale, CA; her grandchildren, Amber, Robert, Scott, Dwayne and Phillip; her great grandchildren, Garrett, Tucker and Zach; her great great grandchild Emmitt; and her siblings, Joseph Shannon (Lancaster) of Stark and Helen Maculley of Wilmington, Delaware. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and great nephews.
