It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonel J. Bourgeois (Burlington, Vermont), who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bourgeois and Orinda Bourgeois (Duhamel); his grandson Jeffrey G. Bishop; and his siblings, Harry, Joseph, Emile, Ernest Bourgeois, Beatrice Gallagher, Rita Bessette and Yvonne Cross.
He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne E. Bishop of Massachusetts; his grandson Christopher (Jamie) of Virginia; his great grandchildren, Lily, Stephen and Andrew; and his siblings, Jeanette Troescher, Armand and Arthur Bourgeois.
