He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Shea and Alberta Shea; his daughters, Nicole Mittenzwei (Cory), Rachel Judd (JJ), Maria Carlson, Peggy Shea and Kelli Beth Shea; his grandchildren, Ethan Mittenzwei, Evan, Connor Judd, Zoe Mewhinney, Harlie Noel, Bella Nashad, Gavin Mullis and Mason Charbonneau; his siblings, Mike Shea (Elmira) of Colchester, VT, Patricia Bachhuber (Paul) of Green Bay, WI, Frank Shea (Cathy Rush) of Colchester, VT, Jim Shea (Jill) and Margaret Shea (Peggy); and his wife Joy. He was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Silently and privately, Joe unselfishly volunteered for 5-years, every weekend helping his mentor Dick Manchester and friend "John Boy" Wagner, over 100 days per year - pick up and distribute Hannaford Supermarket food donations to those less fortunate families throughout Chittenden County.
