It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan C. Upson of Burlington, Vermont, born in Winooski, Vermont, who passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Smith and Doris Smith (Peters); and her brothers, Floyd T. and Dana Smith. She is survived by: her children, Michael O'Leary (Cheryl) of Williston, VT and Kim Fletcher (Randy) of Seven Lakes, NC; her grandchildren, Christin Krauss and Christopher Atwood (Katie); her great grandchildren, Jaden, Kylee and Kinsley; her sister Debbie Jones; and her friends, Maggie, Donna, Janice, Jan, Judy, Colleen, Muffet and Shawn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
