She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bedard and Marie Bedard (Marcotte); and her siblings, Rene, Roger, Andrew, Louis, Armand, Theresa (Morin), Pauline (Roy) and Jeanette (Rocheleau).
She is survived by: her husband Donald F. Benway of Burlington; her children, Donald J. Benway (Julie) of Wilton, NY, Edward Benway (Lori) of Burlington and Sheryl Dowling (Dan) of Essex Junction, VT.; and her grandchildren, Donald C. Benway (Lauren), Jessica Fowler (Adam), Jason Benway (Nina), Emily Benway (Tyler Tarr), Joshua Benway (Brianna Waller), Caitlin Acri (Jesse), Alex Dowling and Benji Dowling. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ready Funeral Home (261 Shelburne Rd, Burlington, VT 05401). A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (305 Flynn Ave, Burlington, VT 05401).
