He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul Goulette and Helen Goulette (Abare). He is survived by: his close friend Linda Thibault; his son James Fredrick Goulette (Rose); his grandchildren, Amanda and Elyssa; his children, Kimberly Goulette, Michael of Albany, NY, Christina Schmid (Larry), Austin of Pennsylvania and Victoria Goulette; his grandchildren, David and Jessica of Colchester; his brother Robert Goulette (Linda); his nieces and nephews, Tracy and Angela; his sister Theresa (Donald Kent); and his nieces and nephews, Steven and Donnie Kent of Burlington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
