He is survived by: his son Harold Dean Kent, III (Betty Ann); his grandchildren, Phillip Harold Kent (Rock Hill), Sarah Louise Bettis Williams (Blake) of Columbia, SC and Andrew Kent Bettis of Charleston, SC; his great grandchild Bettis Campbell Williams of Columbia, SC; his son-in-law Vance J. Bettis of Columbia, SC; and his sister-in-law Ann Reid Glenn of Conover, NC..
