It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Edward Kirby (Burlington, Vermont), who passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kirby and Isabel Kirby (Lanctot); and his siblings, Bertha, Catherine, Marie, Arlene, Alice, William and Robert.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Mae Bourget (Church); his children, Donna (Stuart Porter), Rene, Ric, Daryl (Diana), Cheryl, Jean (Ronald Sweeney) and Jon (Julia); his grandchildren, Brittany Porter (Jeff Kirby), Seth Porter (Jessica), Lindsey (Sean Hebert), Eric Kirby, Ryan Kirby, Jordan Kirby (Megan), Justin StAmour, Joshua, Rachael Sweeney, Alexis (Brian Taylor) and Amanda Kirby; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Silas Hebert, Chloe Porter, Alicia Mendez, Parker, Piper Kirby, Jordyn Kirby, Jakob McElwen and Killian Taylor; and his brother Paul Kirby.

Contributions may be made to the McClure Miller Respite House in Donald's memory.
