He is survived by: his wife Stefanie; his father John McSweeney; his niece Allie Gretkowski; his nephews, Wesley Gretkowski, Casey Gretkowski, Conner, Seamus and Kiefer McGrath; and also, Michael Gretkowski, Rosemary Gretkowski (Hull), Steve Gretkowski, Debbie Gretkowski (Denton), John Gretkowski, Kristin Gretkowski (Kirkpatrick), Bob Christoffel, Carol Christoffel and Jennifer Christoffel McGrath.
Visiting hours will be held at the Chapel at Saint Michael's College on Sunday, August 12, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in David's memory to VNA Hospice Chittenden County (vnacares.org.
