He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Ugalde and Isabel Ugalde; his wife Lucie Paquette; his daughter Regan; his siblings, Paul (Catherine) and Margo (Matt); and his nephews, Bryan, Kyle and Dylan.

In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to the Colchester Vermont Fire and Rescue.
