She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lucille Carpenter and Lawrence Carpenter; her children, William Blanchard (Valli) of Bridport, Robert Blanchard (Linda) of St. Albans, Mary Jane Dion (Paul) of Burlington, Michele O'Neil (Michael) of South Hero, Anne Pratt (Richard) of Jericho, Martha Benoit (Lisa Wester) of Burlington, Michael Blanchard of South Burlington, Denise Goldsborough (Brice) of South Burlington and Patricia Blanchard of South Burlington; her sister-in-law Becky Blanchard of Essex Junction; her grandchildren, Amy Tucker (George) of Middlebury, Robbie Dion of Burlington, James Blanchard of San Francisco, John Blanchard (Viki) of Essex Junction, Ben Blanchard of Burlington, Michael O'Neil Jr. (Jennifer) of Essex, Kathryn Barea (Andre) of Jericho, Abbey Pratt of Burlington and Anthony Pratt of Jericho; her great grandchildren, Eli, Grace, Ella Tucker, Emily O'Neil, Michael O'Neil III, Luna Blanchard, William and Luke Barea; her pet Lottie; her husband William J. Blanchard; her grandson Christopher Pratt; and her brother Thomas Carpenter.
The family has requested that those attending the calling hours and funeral wear masks.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made in memory of Claire to the McClure Miller Respite House, 3113 Roosevelt Hwy, Colchester, VT 05446.
