Bushweller (Burlington, Vermont), born in Port Jervis, New York, who passed away on November 21, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Bushweller and Helen Bushweller; his wife Ellie of South Burlington, VT; his sons, John Bushweller (Teresa Ling) of Virginia, Kevin Bushweller (Paula Smith-Bushweller) of South Burlington and Scott Bushweller (Sarah); his grandchildren, Devin (Lindsay), Ariana, Nathan, Leila, Colin (Elza), Kayleigh, Brenna and Karina; and his siblings, Mary Ann Coughlin, Brian Bushweller and Beth Sarfatti.

“Hack was my research advisor at UVM as well as a mentor. Even after I graduated, he suggested we work on a research paper that later became a valuable part of my tenure application. His research continues to be cited in the scientific literature to this day. We always visited when I was in VT, and I appreciated his advice and support. He made many contributions to this world, and I will greatly miss his presence in my life. - Jay Brown”
