He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Mitchell and Arlene Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Mitchell; his children, Melissa Perry (Nathan) of Lincoln, Justin Mitchell (Janis) of Shelburne and Ethan Mitchell (Dakotah McCormick) of Bolton; and his grandchildren, Zoey, Gavin, Dom, Abby, Natalie and Araelynn. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
