He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Sumner and Ruth Hallock Sumner; and his granddaughter Michelle Bleakley. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Sumner of Bristol; his children, Russell Glenn Sumner of Bristol and Sharon Sumner of New York; and his great grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica and Marissa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
