Rick Desorda Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2021, at the age of 67, Rick Desorda of Bristol, Vermont, born in Burlington, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his sons, Bill, Joe and Jim; his sisters, Laurie Darling (Ed) and Cindi Smith (Creighton); his mother-in-law Kay; his siblings-in-law, Bob, Tom, Ed and Laurie; his brother Rodney; and his half-sister Kathy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private Mass for Rick will be held on Saturday, January 9, but because of Covid, only family and close friends are able to attend. A post-Covid memorial service will be held at a later date.

If anyone would like to make a donation in his name, his two favorite charities are the Have-a-Heart Food Shelf in Bristol and Homeward Bound in Middlebury.
