He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edmund Cousino and Georgiana Cousino (Shackett); his wife Sandra Sargent; his children, Annette Bennett (Joe), Frank (Karen) and Darwin Cousino (Kim); his stepson Trent Sargent (Laura); his siblings, Bill Cousino, Pauline Gearwar and Constance Cyr (Jim); his sisters-in-law, Mary Cousino, Nancy Tanner and Shirly Haylette; his former wife Barbara; his son Thomas; his grandson Jody Cousino; and his siblings, Elaine Kimball, Tootsie LaFrance, Betty Gruthie, Ellen McCormack, Joanne Brown, James and Edmund. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
