She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick C. Laite and Helen B. Wieck; and her husband Dewees Brown. She is survived by: her children, Craig (Paula Brown) of Portland, CT, Debera Blakeslee (Michael) of Starksboro, VT and Gary Brown (Joani) of Lemont, PA.; and her grandchildren, Rachel Brown, Paul Blakeslee, Kevin Blakeslee, Maria Yarley, Anna Thompson, Justin Brown, Janet Brown and Meredith Rossi (family: Clayton Brown). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
