David William Stearns Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2020, at the age of 85, David William Stearns of Bridgewater, Vermont, born in Hartford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Hartwell Stearns and Laura Stearns (Waters); his brother John H. Stearns Jr. of Glastonbury, CT; his stepsiblings, James Standish of Avon, CT and Janice Standish of Woodstock, VT; his sister-in-law Judith Stearns of Bloomfield, CT.; and his nephews, Jay Stearns of Colchester, VT, Bob Stearns of Granby, CT, Jim Stearns of San Francisco, CA, James David Standish of West Hartford, CT and Darren Standish of Avon, CT. He was also cherished by numerous grandnephews, grandnieces and cousins.
Donations can be made in David's name to Wesleyan Potters in Middletown, CT or Artistree Community Arts Center in South Pomfret, VT.
