It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merton Garland (Brattleboro, Vermont), born in Dummerston, Vermont, who passed away on September 17, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Garland and Gertrude Garland (Pond); his wife Beatrice Farnum; his children, Henry Garland, Sr. (Sandy), Dennis Garland (Celia), Phyllis Garland, Richard Garland (Becky) and Kelly A. Garland; and his siblings, Arnold Garland (Roberta), Carlton Garland (Bonnie), Natalie Garland LaChance and Mary Garland. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, ten great- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
