With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jonmichael Scott McManus-Murphy in Brattleboro, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 22. He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Murphy of Southaven, Mississippi.; his grandparents, Troy, Emma Murphy, Lois Perrigo and Merton Davis; his uncles, John Perrigo, Doug and Chris Murphy; and his brother Nathan Shaffer.
He is survived by: his mother Carol McManus (Perrigo) of Brattleboro; his siblings, Honnee McManus, Marilee Murphy, Alison Dixon, Christa Harty, JoAnne Welch, Maryann Call, Nicholas Ahlgren, David Weeks, Corey Russell and Paul Kickery; his grandmother Ellen Schwartz; his aunts and uncles, Angela Perrigo, Dennise Neilson, Skyler Wind, Bre Abul, Michele Curran-Wells, Scott Perrigo (Crystal), Michael Murphy, Gary Murphy (Vickie), Ted Addison (Cheryl) and Fabio Gaveri (Beatrice); and his cousins, Jennifer, Kelley, Debra French, Ben, Garrett Murphy, Jim Norton (Sherry), Matthew and Carolyn Norton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other beloved family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Centre Congregational Church (193 Main St, Brattleboro, VT 05301).
