She is survived by: her husband Andrew Wisniewski; her daughters, Jessica and Abigail Howard; her stepson Matthew Wisniewski; her granddaughter Eleanor Wisniewski; her brother Dennis Farrow; and her half-sister Gayla Pulkinnen.

“JoAnn and I were friends and neighbors for too short of a time! Had she lived for many more years, I don't think that would have been long enough. When we met it was obvious that we were two peas in a pod or two nuts in a shell, we were so alike! She and I decided we would just become family and we became sisters! I am still trying to wrap my head around her dying. I miss you sis but you will be forever in my heart, love you.”
