He was predeceased by: his sisters, Irene Cembura and Marcia Mears. He is survived by: his parents, Henry Martel and Edmee Martel (Cormier); his spouse Ethel Benjamin; and his children, Michael Martel (Maria) of New Ipswich, N. H., Annette Mondeau (William) of Fuquay Varina, N. C. and Pastor Michael. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
