She is survived by: her spouse Philip Newbold Whittaker of Chestnut Hill; her children, Elizabeth Whittaker of Dummerston, Philip Whittaker of Germantown, Stephen Whittaker of Keedysville and Nancy Whittaker; and her siblings, Arthur Stevenson of Peterborough, NH and Nancy Jones of Falmouth, MA.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations in Betty's memory may be made to the American Red Cross.
