It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Hilton (Brattleboro, Vermont), born in Dummerston, Vermont, who passed away on March 12, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frederick Sanderson and Noma Sanderson (Perry); her husband Barry B. Hilton; her children, Christopher Hilton (Dawn) of Bellows Falls, Heidi Bowers (Bill) of Essex Jct, Kim Peters (Brian) of Townshend, Holly Hilton of Moretown and Karen Hilton of Brandon; her siblings, Rebecca McKenny of Brattleboro, Curtis Sanderson of Bridgewater, Robert Sanderson of Jamaica and Ronald Sanderson of Townshend; her grandchildren, Dylan, Aislin, Trevor and Lliam; and her sister Elizabeth Putnam. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and several cousins.
A memorial gathering in celebration of her life will be held at the Newbrook Fire Station on Route 30 on Saturday, March 23'Rd from 12 Noon until 2 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial.
