He was predeceased by: his parents, Russel Ripley and Rena Ripley (Alderman); his wife Janipher Burgess; and his sister Ellen Joyce Ripley. He is survived by: his children, Ellen Knapp (Dale) of Brandon, Vt, Terrie Patch (Tim) of Brandon, Vt. and Rob Ripley (Beth) of Leicester, Vt.; his grandchildren, Hillary Knapp, Kelsey Knapp, Emily Patch Carter (Michael), Samantha Patch Graves (Brandon), Jeritt Patch, Amanda Ripley Quesnel (Paul Matthew) and Katherine Ripley (Cooper); his great grandchildren, Luke Robert Quesnel and John Matthew Quesnel; and his brother-in-law Carl Burgess (Carol) of Cortland, NY. He is also survived by two nieces, a nephew and several cousins.
