With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Van Hook Harris (Brandon, Vermont), born in North Haledon, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She is survived by: her children, Jerrold Wood, Polly Wood-Holland of Portland Oregon and Alexander Wood of Conifer; and her stepchildren, Barbara Sassano of Savannah Georgia, Townes M Harris III and Gilford of New Hampshire. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and, ten Great-grandchildren.
